Citigroup Finance COO Transformation Program Manager - Capital and Liquidity - C15 in New York, New York

The Finance Transformation Group in conjunction with the Function execution teams, is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-business transformational Initiatives as part of Citi’s Transformation. This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will partner with Execution teams to help accelerate critical initiatives manage one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives, ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.

The Program Manager will be focused on facilitating and guiding execution for key streams of the overall delivery, and requires an experienced program manager with a strong and proven track record in delivering complex solutions in Liquidity, Capital Markets, Market Risk or regulatory transformation. Has significant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans with an ability to drive change to business practices, understand different perspectives and work effectively across a global organization. Able to provide thought leadership in target state design and provision of guidance, support and constructive challenge to ensure alignment with program strategy/commitments. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions. Required to think beyond existing solutions, with significant impact on a function and/or the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.

Responsibilities:

Impactful project management for successful delivery of key regulatory requirements. Responsibilities and priorities will reflect the needs of specific workstreams and will evolve over time, however the following are some of the specific responsibilities expected of this role:

  • Leads planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities in partnership with execution teamsto facilitate and guide delivery key project(s), with a ruthless management of critical path.

  • Provides strategic direction and feedback with respect to, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, executive communications and so on.

  • Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads.

  • Identifies and drives resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.

  • Collaborates with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.

  • Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, to escalate and resolve on a timely basis.

  • Manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.

  • Manage internal and external dependencies, including working closely with stakeholders in risk, lines of business, technology and data.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Appropriate industry knowledge, including Liquidity Management or Capital Management/Market Risk transformation.

  • Knowledge and expertise in Program Management, including Project Management and/or management reporting and analysis. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.

  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others. Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • College/university degree education

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience

  • Appropriate industry knowledge & delivery track record.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
