Live Nation Fall 2024 Intern - Label Administration in New York, New York

Job Summary:

Title: Label Administrative Intern

Location: New York, NY (In-Person, Unpaid, For College Credit)

The Role:

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is looking for a dedicated and organized Label Admin Intern. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Label Administration & Operations.

Areas that you will be learning about:

  • Shadow and assist in managing Roc Nation Label President’s schedule every Friday to learn effective time management and scheduling techniques.

  • Assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating with team members to gain experience in professional communication and coordination.

  • Contribute to the setup and breakdown of events to understand event planning logistics and execution.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for the college ambassador program to develop event ideas and strategies for campus activation.

  • Assist in organizing and updating databases of photographers, videographers, and media outlets to learn about industry contacts and networking.

  • Accompany team members on store runs to understand resource procurement and management.

  • Assist in preparing and sending out client gifts to learn about client relationship management and appreciation strategies. These internship learning opportunity tasks will provide valuable hands-on experience and insights into various aspects of the job responsibilities described in the original job description.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current student, enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program at an accredited college or university

  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university for the duration of the internship

  • Interest in learning new (web) related technologies and software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments

  • Familiarity with social networking sites desired, but we will also train

  • Familiarity with Keynote/ PowerPoint, but we will also train

This internship is available for the general Fall semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements.

COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot is a mandatory requirement for this position.
