Wells Fargo Executive Director - Senior Lead CIB Business Manager – Fixed Income Capital Markets in NEW YORK, New York
About this role:
CIB banking’s capital markets group provides origination, structuring, syndicate and sales services across equity, investment grade, leveraged finance and fund finance businesses.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Capital Markets within CIB banking is seeking a Senior Lead CIB Business Manager (COO) to join its team as a senior business manager/ COO for fixed income capital markets. In collaboration with senior business and functional leaders across CIB banking, CIB markets and the enterprise, the Senior Lead CIB Business Manager will help drive the implementation, execution, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of CIB Banking’s strategy within fixed income capital markets.
In this role, you will:
Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team for this business
Lead efforts to strengthen the infrastructure related to the delivery of debt capital markets products
Partner closely with business and platform leaders to care for regulatory requirements and risk related to business activities within fixed income capital markets
In partnership with leaders across Banking, drive execution of client selection, account planning and coverage activities including resource allocation across fixed income capital markets in support of CIB Banking strategy
Manage key strategic vendor relationships
Actively monitor and forecast business performance including pipeline, market share and other key performance indicators
Facilitate communication across the fixed income capital markets team to promote alignment with CIB’s strategic priorities
Lead strategic analysis and presentations
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with stakeholders within CIB and CIB banking to drive alignment of execution plans with CIB strategy
Develop materials for internal audiences, communicating updates on the fixed income capital markets business, strategy implementation and execution
Ensure alignment of fixed income capital markets capabilities and offerings with evolving industry environment
Support financial capital optimization efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of corporate & investment banking business management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of business management experience within a Front Office Capital markets role.
In-depth understanding of investment banking and corporate banking products including debt capital markets, leveraged finance, loan syndications and underwriting as well as other relevant Corporate Banking products.
Fixed Income trading and sales experience may be considered as well.
Experience with front office technology implementations.
Experience and understanding of bridge financing commitment risk.
Technical ability to manage complex workstreams and strategic ability to interpret results
Project management expertise to run committees, initiatives, employee engagement events, training efforts, etc.
Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business, legal, control, support and technical teams
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
