Banco Santander, S.A. Executive Director, Corporate Banking Relationship Manager in New York, New York

Develop client relationships, execute transactions for a portfolio of clients, and originate new mandates for diversified products families, including trade and working capital, DCM, ECM, cash management and FX/Rates. Perform strategic business activities and detailed due diligence, including client research, corporate and financial information analysis, industry sector analysis, market analysis, internal reporting and budget initiatives. Prepare and produce client presentations, marketing materials, pitch books, financial models, and transaction documents/strategy. Identify and support opportunities to market and cross-sell bank products, particularly to U.S. companies with a presence in Latin America. Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (with concentration in Finance or Management), Finance or Economics, plus five years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the offered position or as corporate banker or portfolio manager for a global bank.*All required experience must have included structuring, originating and executing deals in the U.S. and Latin American region for clients in the automotive and auto parts sector; developing product pitches, industry sector analysis, market analysis, internal reporting, and business plans based on specific profitability metrics and revenues analysis; applying knowledge of corporate market risk processes, financial data models, relative valuation methodologies, cashflow valuations, and database management to advise clients on financing, equity/debt raising, equity derivatives and hedging instruments; determining appropriate risk-adjusted price for transactions; and using knowledge of risk-weighted asset and return-on-risk weighted asset models to ensure bank allocates capital efficiently and to ensure bank is protected from overly risky financial transactions; and leading the origination of new mandates for diversified products families markets. *Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 70% of the time and internationally up to 10% of the time for client meetings.
