The Director of Program Management will have a cross-functional and visible leadership role and have the responsibility to lead data programs across the Decision Sciences team, including a growing international footprint. You will be responsible for defining, managing, and mitigating risks for any dependency between data initiatives across Data Engineering, Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Content Analytics, Data Product Management, and Data Science. This is a highly collaborative cross-functional role responsible for resource management, PMO, and organizational change management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of data project managers and analysts, providing guidance and support in project planning, execution, and delivery.

  • Monitor risks and issues across all data programs serving as a point of escalation/remediation for them.

  • Support leadership in overall program and product management as well as other top priority initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely and build relationships across cross-functional business and technical teams to set expectations and successfully guide project execution.

  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure the successful execution of data-related initiatives, meeting deadlines, and budget requirements.

  • Oversee the implementation of project management methodologies and best practices to optimize project efficiency and ensure high-quality deliverables across the DTC & Media Group business, both domestically and internationally.

  • Determine measures for success and the best way to capture, roll up and communicate product, project, program, and portfolio status for executive reviews.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans to address any issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.

  • Identify synergies/efficiencies across verticals, projects and products leveraging a shared approach when applicable and reduce redundancy.

  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a program/project management and/or portfolio management within a global technology organization

  • Proven experience (7 years) in a leadership role overseeing data project management in a complex organizational environment.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards successful project outcomes.

  • Ability to build a compelling story with experience communicating concepts and ideas to technologists and users alike

  • Experience with agile/project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project or similar tools

  • Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to setup and manage a SharePoint site

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and build strong relationships across the business

  • Strong interpersonal skills; flexible and able to operate ‘in the gray’ as needed

  • Strategically agile and displays emotional intelligence

  • Ability to develop talent and teams.

  • Adaptable and ability to learn quickly.

  • Driving agile mindset and change management.

  • PMP and/or Agile Certifications a strong plus

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $150,000, - $200,000, bonus and LTI eligible
