Overview

This is a hybrid role, that may only be hired in the following location: NYC

This position facilitates growth and profitability goals for the Commercial Services Division of the Bank through an individual marketing and business development plan. Identifies sales opportunities for prospective clients through sales management and calling programs and determines the best product or service to meet business needs. Acquires new business factoring (both borrowing & non-borrowing), loan and deposit relationships by leveraging centers of influence, community networking, and direct prospective client contact. Works closely with banking partners and associates throughout the financial services relationships to ensure closing and satisfaction.


Responsibilities
  • Sales - Develops a sales plan to achieve annual sales and profitability objectives. Utilizes the Bank's prescribed process, methods, and tools throughout a variety of sales and marketing activities including telemarketing and outside sales calls. Maintains pipeline and portfolio reports on prospective and acquired clients.
  • Client Service - Provides information, answers inquiries, and resolves issues for prospective clients concerning Bank products and services. Collects data to identify and address problems, involving other associates as necessary.
  • Relationship Development - Establishes a rapport with prospective clients to identify business needs and leverage sales opportunities. Maintains productive relationships with Business Services partners and other corporate divisions, bringing sales partners into prospective client relationships as needed to manage the total financial services relationship. Utilizes relationships with community organizations to identify potential factoring prospects and builds a strong referral network through centers of influence.
  • Business Support - Supports Bank initiatives and business strategies. Identifies tools or methods to enhance service and referral performance. Manages risk related to deposit products, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and maintaining a strong product knowledge base.

Qualifications
    Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Business Development, Factoring or Asset Based Lending Sales, Commercial Banking OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Business Development, Factoring or Asset Based Lending Sales, Commercial Banking

If hired in NY the base pay for this position is generally between $175,000 and $225,000.00 Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
