Mott MacDonald Group Digital Optimization Program Coordinator in New York, New York

Mott MacDonald is hiring a senior Program Coordinator in our Digital Services team. This person will work as part of the Digital Optimization group alongside other talented individuals to organize and coordinate program activities to support engineering project teams throughout North America on improving tools and processes in the BIM/VDC context to drive differentiation to win more work and increase productivity when executing this work. We are looking for a candidate to join us as we incubate new ideas, develop new processes, automation and scripts, and embed productivity improvements as part of the Digital Delivery of projects. The Digital Optimization group will work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to align the most productive tools and workflows and promote optimized techniques.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with projects to identify gaps, issues or room for optimization of Digital Delivery processes and workflows
  • Devise and coordinate optimization solutions for these projects
  • Organizing and coordinating Optimization program activities
  • Compile and maintain Optimizations Solutions library
  • Establish a process to collect, review, prioritize and incubate new ideas for optimizations
  • Raise awareness of the program across the business and manage communication
  • Establish and document a standardized engagement approach with relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate Optimization Solutions implementation and training
  • Coordinate and prioritize incoming requests for optimization
  • Establish KPIs to measure value and impact
  • Report KPI results
  • Travel as needed to job sites

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, architecture or related discipline with an eagerness to work on the optimization side of project delivery
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AEC project delivery
  • Knowledge of software: Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI and others
  • Knowledge of data management systems: Bentley ProjectWise, MS SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud Platform (ACC), and others
  • Experience with file sharing interoperability between digital environments
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to develop efficient workflows
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very self-motivated and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, in an organized manner, self-prioritizing workload accordingly
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products
  • Team player skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A passion for the built environment and types of projects that Mott MacDonald works on
  • Basic understanding of programming
  • Basic understanding of generative AI capabilities
  • Basic understanding of IoT devices, APIs, integration of systems
  • Strong appetite for innovation and driving continuous improvement
  • Experience in the data management
  • Flexible and versatile individual that can adapt and take on various tasks
  • Quick learner
  • Open-Minded individual receptive to new ideas and approaches
