Job Description: Brevan Howard US Investment Management LP is seeking a Credit Analyst in New York, NY to provide credit analysis on both a single name and thematic approach basis. Manage risk, on both single-name and broader book basis. Identify compelling trade opportunities. Provide real-time analysis of relevant news flow on a company and industry basis. Generate investment ideas based on fundamental research and data analysis. Build detailed fundamental supply and demand models. Build and enhance tools and models to manage risks across and explain P&L drivers across products in area of coverage. Develop and expand analytics tools and processes while staying on top of market research and insights. Model data for specific markets and produce ad hoc analysis based on short-term market developments. Ensure integrity of data, marks, and pricing models. Monitor and explain PnL and performance. Collaborate with Lead Credit PM in a transparent environment. Evaluate and improve data quality.Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics or Mathematics. Must have 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Trading Associate or Analyst or close related role. The 4 years of experience must include experience with credit analysis; sell-side credit trading experience in HY Bonds and CDS; credit skew/basis trading; fundamental credit research; portfolio trading; algorithmic driven trading strategies and electronic trading platforms; constructing models in Python and VBA; and credit trading, credit pricing and risk management.
