Overview

Foley & Lardner LLP is currently seeking a Corporate Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team. As a vital member of the firm's client service team, our Corporate Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for researching, drafting and preparing complex employment, investment and treaty-based visa petitions. A qualified candidate must be organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines, work independently and also as a collaborative member of our client service team. This individual must have experience working with the U.S. Department of Labor procedures, knowledge of National Visa Center processing, consular processing, immigrant/non-immigrant visas, and AOS processes.

Responsibilities
    Researching, drafting and preparing complex employment, investment and treaty-based visa petitions
  • Preparing H-3 Trainee, Individual L, or L-blanket petitions
  • Preparing E-1/E-2 treaty/trader investor visas, EB-5 investor visas, TN, H-1B, and E-3 visas, extraordinary ability visas
  • Drafting and filing labor condition applications
  • Resolving client registration and processing issues
  • Crafting ad listings for PERM Labor Certification
  • Managing recruitment through submitting applications to DOL in compliance with federal requirements
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate strongly preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years' of corporate immigration experience required
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and knowledge of immigration-based software desired
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking and writing skills are a plus

Pursuant to the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the salary range for this Los Angeles based position is between $78,500 - $128,100. Pursuant to the New York City Human Rights Law and Washington DC Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this New York or Washington DC based position is between $81,900 - $133,700. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity at Foley.
