Sony Music Entertainment Coordinator, Contract Administration in New York, New York
The Coordinator, Contract Administration, will manage various elements of our clients' contracts and accounts. This is a highly responsible administrative position that sits between the legal, royalties and financial teams. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Administration, you will be working across deals for multiple business units so a general understanding of recording rights and contracts would be a benefit, but not essential. Your team and businesses are structured across NYC & London so strong communication skills are essential for this supportive role. This role is based in our NYC office.
What you'll do- Process client distribution deals for multiple businesses along with tracking expirations, options and terminations.
- Process Advance payments for client agreements and tracking future payments due.
- Respond to internal and external queries regard a client's contractual terms.
- Liaise with Legal, Royalty Accounting & Distributions and Financial teams to ensure the accuracy of the client's contracts and payments.
- Provide general support for the department for any further administrative responsibilities.
- Two (2) years' experience in a similar position and industry is preferred, but not a necessity.
- The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
- Have strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel & Google Workspace Applications.
