Clinical Program Manager, Integrative Medicine

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Program Manager in Integrative Medicine. We're looking for a dynamic, committed professional with management skills to drive growth and make a meaningful impact in caring for the mind, body, and spirit of people affected by cancer. The Integrative Medicine Service is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year; it is the oldest integrative oncology program in a cancer center. The service excels at providing high quality, patient-centered clinical care to people impacted by cancer. But it is also the leader in the conduct of rigorous research that establishes the evidence-base that will ultimately make integrative medicine a part of standard cancer care.

Role Overview:

Supervises and coordinates the daily technical, clinical and administrative activities of the Integrative Medicine clinicians (excluding MDs and APPs), ensuring efficient and proficient operations, research training and activity, quality service and excellent patient care at all care locations.

Develops, implements, and supervises clinical programs in the adult and pediatric populations. Manages clinical staff and interns for integrative medicine therapies including acupuncturists, massage therapists, music therapists, mind-body therapists, and dance/movement therapists. In partnership with the service chief and clinical leadership, sets productivity goals for each team, monitors clinical volume, workflows and resources, assesses staff performance and conducts resource planning.

Ensures patient care requirements for clinical trial protocols are executed correctly and manages staffing, training, and resourcing as needed to comply with study protocol activity. Partners with operations managers, supply chain, facilities and others to maintain ambulatory operations.

Provides patient care in an inpatient or ambulatory setting and plays an integral role in each patient’s interdisciplinary health-care team, establishing specific therapeutic goals and objectives. Works within department goals and procedures and the MSK policies and mission. Monitors business and financial metrics for financial sustainability and patient care operations goals.

Key Qualifications:

· Professional licensure or certification in an integrative modality (e.g. acupuncture, massage therapy, music therapy, creative arts therapy, mind-body therapy).

· Experience working in a hospital-based integrative oncology or integrative medicine setting.

· Commitment to high quality and evidence-based integrative medicine clinical practice.

· Management and leadership experience preferred.

· Location: 205 E. 64th Street/ 321 E. 61st Street

· Schedule: Full Time (37.5 hours/week)

· Work mode: In person

· Reporting to: Rebecca Hawke, Director, Medicine

Salary Grade: M

Pay Range: $109,300.00-$174,800.00
