Description We are offering a role within the real estate industry located in New York, New York, 10151, United States. The role is for a Bookkeeper with a focus on credit clerk duties, operating within a dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and manage customer credit records ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate

• Respond to and resolve customer credit inquiries professionally and efficiently

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Handle Accounts Receivable tasks including generating invoices and posting payments

• Manage Accounts Payable duties such as entering and coding invoices, and preparing wire transfers and checks

• Perform bank reconciliations as part of regular financial oversight

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial processes and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data

• Adhere to financial policies and procedures to maintain the organization's financial health and integrity Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed.

• Capable of Posting Payments.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Ability to Enter Invoices is required.

• Experience with Coding Invoices is necessary.

• Knowledge of Wire Transfer procedures is crucial.
