Description We are an established law firm seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Personal Injury Attorney to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or an individual with up to a year of relevant experience. The successful candidate will begin with tasks such as conducting plaintiff depositions, appearing for conferences, preparing clients, and managing a caseload of 40-50 cases. We are prepared to nurture and groom the right candidate into a competent personal injury attorney.

Responsibilities:

Assist in personal injury cases from inception through to resolution.

Conduct plaintiff depositions.

Attend conferences on behalf of the law firm and clients.

Meticulously manage a caseload of 40-50 cases.

Prepare clients for their depositions.

Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Conduct and analyze legal research to aid case preparation.

Assisting senior attorneys in trial preparation and in court.

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school.

Bar admission and in good standing to practice law in NY.

A maximum of 1 year of personal injury experience (including internships).

Interest and passion in building a career in personal injury law.

Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.

Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

Adaptable and can handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
