Assurance Advisor, Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) - Climate Change and Decarbonization (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY. Solve challenging ESG and climate change problems. Manage emerging risks and reduce costs by designing and implementing systems and processes to leverage opportunities in areas such as climate change, green and sustainable finance, health and safety, labor rights, nonfinancial reporting, supply chain, and environmental management. Provide clients with strategic, technical, and reporting expertise on a wide range of climate challenges, including decarbonization, risk, emissions measurement, and reporting. Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk, and client expectations. Understand client's unique needs, ambitions, and expectations. Manage performance and identify opportunity to improve products and processes. Produce high-quality deliverables, navigate client relationships, and foster a high-performance teaming culture. Solve complex client problems through research and data analysis, synthesize into key insights to frame executive decisions, and communicate to senior leaders. Assist with generating new business opportunities, industry networks, and relationships with a focus on climate change and decarbonization agendas. Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science or a related field and 5 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science or related field and 4 years of related experience. Must have 4 years of Sustainability experience. Must have 3 years of combined experience working with climate change megatrends, net-zero decarbonization strategies, GHG inventory plans, and data management, TCFD, climate disclosures, renewable energy, scope 3 supply chain decarbonization strategies, and carbon offsets/markets. Must have 3 years of experience with researching and resolving emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Must have 3 years of consulting experience within a large professional firm. Must have 2 years of experience with net-zero and science-based target decarbonization strategies. Must have certification/accreditation in one of the following in your work state; CSSGB (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt); GHG Verifier (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification issued by CARB); ISSP-CSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Certified Sustainability Professional); ISSP-SA (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Sustainability Associate); LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design); PE (Professional Engineer); PMP (Project Management Professional); Global Reporting (GRI); Green building (LEED); Green House Gas (GHG); Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Global Association of Risk Professional (GARP) or sufficient coursework/experience requirements to obtain certification within one year of hire. Requires travel up to 60%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
