Description:

The Temporary CRM Marketing Specialist- Associate Manager/Junior Marketing Manager role is focused on supporting the client's digital comics subscription service and publishing brand through marketing operations, acquisition, and retention campaigns. This role will manage all CRM activities including email and app messaging, campaign execution, and analytics for Comics direct-to-consumer activities as well as Sales campaign support.

Responsibilities include:

• Own the weekly email and mobile deployment calendar.

o Maintain messaging calendar including developing new opportunities to promote key initiatives.

o Build weekly newsletters and in-app/push notifications.

o Code/build messaging in platform

o Audience/list segmentation

o QA testing

o Schedule and deploy messages.

• Update reporting for ad-hoc campaigns and monthly insights

• Develop, route, and gain approval for CRM campaign assets and copy.

• Assist with audience segmentation for campaign deployment

• Develop and execute A/B testing road map across Email and Mobile channels.

Responsibilities include managing marketing efforts consistent with a business unit's objectives and strategies, as well as identifying, analyzing and communicating opportunities that would deliver volume, revenue and share target. Must be able to manage and make recommendations on all aspects of the marketing mix (product, packaging, pricing, and promotions place and property management) as well as make strategic recommendations and execute plans as indicated.

dditional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.

• 4+ years’ experience in email and/or push marketing, preferably B2C and in an online subscription business.

• Experience with CRM systems (ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze preferred) or other enterprise level ESPs.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design.

• Extensive email and/or push deployment experience and understanding of QA processes.

• Experience building automations and triggered notifications, journeys, drip campaigns and other logic/action-based notifications.

• Experience with Analytics systems (Omniture, Tableau)

• Familiarity with dynamic personalization tools (Movable Ink a plus)

• Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working with project management software (such as JIRA) and customer support systems (such as Zendesk).

• Exceptional organizational skills and extraordinary attention to detail.

• Dynamic problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional internal teams.

• Strong communication and writing skills, comfortable communicating across all levels.

• A fan of Marvel, and lover of comics is a plus.
