As a Head of Private Wealth Alternatives Vice President within the client service team you will act as a senior leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the client service experience for registered broker dealers and intermediaries investing in alternative assets. You will have the opportunity to build out a team, manage clients, and build relationships with stakeholders. As a head of Private Wealth Alternatives you will be able to use your expertise in private wealth and alternative investments to deliver exceptional client service to our investors.
Job responsibilities
Coordinate with Private Wealth Alternatives Client Advisor team to support client acquisition and retention efforts
Build out processes to support new products and distribution channels across a broad spectrum of alternative asset classes, monitor and evaluate client service metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Stay informed about trends and developments in the alternative investment space, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and other non-traditional assets
Participate in industry working groups to influence and drive resolution on key themes and issues
Assist with implementation of new firm initiatives and ad hoc reports/projects as needed
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of client service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Provide subject matter expertise and resolve escalated client issues and problems through effective interaction with advisors, product partners, operations areas, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Engage with fintech providers and 3 rd parties to drive product implementations, enhancements, etc
Collaborate with regional leads to promote education and drive global alignment on business processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8 or more years of experience in Wealth Management distribution/operations with a background in Alternative Registered funds (Non-Traded REITS, Tender Offer Funds, BDCs, interval funds, etc) and 3 rd party private fund feeders
Proven track record of leadership and team management in a client service environment
Strategic thinker with a client-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service
Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills including executive communication skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) preferred
FINRA series 7, 66 and 24 (optional) licenses preferred
