Work with other team members to foster ideas and produce creative solutions to difficult problems, while making strategic choices balancing design and delivery. Design and implement cost-effective enterprise standard Cloud solutions in AWS Cloud by following design principles such as high availability, scalability, resiliency and security. Design and improve CICD platform and process and drive overall Infrastructure as Code (IAC strategy). Standardize infrastructure deployment by building reusable framework using automation tools, such as HashiCorp Terraform, AWS Service Catalog and AWS CloudFormation templates. Provision and manage Kubernetes platform (AWS EKS) for modernized application (containerized) deployments. Design and lead the initiative of building fully automated workflow building, performing QA and release management of Golden AMI’s. Enhance hybrid Cloud DNS Architecture as per AWS’s latest offerings. Build an automation framework with Terraform for quickly onboarding acquired AWS accounts. Implement overall observability strategies (Monitoring, Logging and Alerting). Design security and compliance for AWS infrastructure using guard rails such as organizational SCP’s. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Systems Engineer, Technical Architect, or in a related position building scalable cloud platforms, focusing on developer velocity, autonomy, and automation. Must have experience with the following: working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Organizations, EKS, EC2, EBS, AMI, Cloud Formation, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, IAM, STS, Lambda, VPC, API gateway, Route 53(DNS Resolver), ELB, SQS, SSM, RDS ACM, Service catalog, AWS PrivateLink, AWS Backup, ACM, API Gateway, AWS Image Builder, and AWS Step Functions Workflow; performing scripting and development using Python, boto3, Bash shell scripting, JSON, REST API, XML, YAML, SQL, NoSQL and HCL (Hashicorp Configuration Language), and Visual Studio Code; using DevOps Tools, including Terraform, Jenkins, Packer, and Docker; working with code repository, including GitHub; and working with CloudHealth (Cost Management, asset tracking and visualization), PaloAlto Prisma Cloud, Qualys (Vulnerabilities and Compliance Scan), Splunk (Centralized Logging), and Cloud Custodian (Automated Security and compliance policy enforcement).
