Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Sourcing & Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide support for both strategic and operational activities within our sourcing and supply chain groups.

What you get to do

  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Assist with supply chain operational tasks such as quoting, supplier corrective actions, order management, inventory management, shipping and receiving, planning, asset tracking, and invoicing
  • Assist with strategic sourcing tasks such as supplier identification, supplier qualification, spend analysis, risk analysis, negotiations, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management
  • Policy and process development
  • Metrics dashboard development

What you bring to the Team

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED. College degree preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience in supply chain/sourcing roles. Less experience will be considered for the right candidate.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience using ERP systems to execute supply chain tasks preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Great teammate who can effectively interact with management and collaborate with other departments in the organization
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, medical, automotive and high technology industries preferred
