DNV Energy Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Program Director to join our Energy Management team, who will manage and build relationships with utility clients and key stakeholders and run the day-to-day operations and program planning. You will have purview over the work, the team, the outcomes, and client success.

The Program Director is responsible for achieving all client goals and budget adherence as well as satisfying internal revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics. The program manager will act as the primary customer contact for program activities and lead meetings to discuss program performance. Additionally, the program manager will identify program needs and designs innovations or changes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role will be responsible to identify and develop new business opportunities for future growth. Work closely with utility client to roll out and execute energy programs for commercial and industrial utility customers.

This position is based in our New Jersey City, NJ office.

  • Hire, train and supervise administrative, engineering and outreach/marketing staff to meet energy savings goals within budget
  • Manage a group of sub-contractors based on defined scopes and expectations
  • Develop and implement an operations strategy that will meet utility defined performance, financial, and energy efficiency savings goals
  • Monitor program results including energy savings, quality assurance and develop recommendations to continuously improve the program under ISO 9001 standards
  • Presentations to a variety of stakeholders, including utility customers, trade allies and utility management on program status and/or energy efficient technologies and utility incentives for these technologies
  • Preparation of written reports to utility client
  • Find innovative ways to resolve problems
