About the Role:goTenna seeks a passionate, detail oriented, willing to learn and drive initiatives to fruition, HR Generalist Office Manager. We are building a team of world class talent, who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will manage our full employee life cycle, including onboarding, off boarding, HRIS administration, office operations, and employee experience. As the HR Generalist Office Manager, you will need to have a solid HR foundation, be agile, self driven, have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be willing to take on a challenge. This position will require you to be in the office 2 to 3 times a week located in Jersey City, NJ.Primary responsibilities: Serve as a crucial point of contact to employees Manage all HR administrative functions, such as onboarding / offboarding,benefit compensation administrationpayrollperformance managementComply with all applicable HR laws and regulations Working with IT vendorMaintain compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations Plan and direct employee engagement events, which promote a high-performing, inclusive, and mission-driven culture Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe office space which includes: Inventory ordering suppliesmaintaining equipmentCateringTripsBudgetingAnd moreRequired skills and experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience Experience building, maintaining and presenting HR practices High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organizationPreferred skills and experience:Preference for working in the innovative, fast-paced environment of ap Love for goTenna and our mission to build a distributed communication network from the ground-up!
