Indium Corporation Quality Management System Coordinator in New Hartford, New York

JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Management System Coordinator supports improving, fostering, and advancing the Quality Management System (QMS).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

  • Manage, coordinate, and organize Indium Corporation’s Quality Management System documentation, including instructing others in the maintenance and compliance of documentation

  • Maintain locations, departments, employee changes (to include new, departing, and intercompany transfers), and user groups within Intellect

  • Maintain new customers as well as customer ship-tos

  • Ensure accurate and timely release of all documents and document changes

  • Provide day-to-day support for user-initiated helpdesk tickets related to Intellect and QMS

  • Assists with performing validation testing protocols

  • Assist in establishing organizational goals and values and continual improvement of the existing software/systems/processes currently in place concerning the QMS

  • Maintain and understand the security and permission levels of the Intellect system

  • Internal customer support for Intellect, QMS, and QMS Public

  • Maintain scripts and helpful tips for training purposes

  • Maintain hard copy and electronic versions of the Department Operating Manuals (DOMs) and procedures as well as other document locations in SharePoint

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • 2 years related work experience required

  • Knowledge of QMS preferred but not required

  • Familiar with ISO 9001, current revision, and/or IATF 16949 current revision process as it applies to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Indium Corporation’s QMS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with extreme attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal, administrative, and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues without detailed direction

  • Ability to prioritize work to meet strict deadlines across multiple projects

  • Professional and eager to learn and be challenged• Ability to utilize multiple word-processing and database applications

  • Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

Monday-Friday/Office Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm/ 301 Woods Park Drive, New Hartford, NY

WAGE DISCLOSURE:

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$21.75 per hour - $36.50 per hour

($45,240- $75,920 annually)
