DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

POSITION: Maintenance Technician

SUPERVISOR: Director of Facilities

HOURS: Full Time, Second Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm

PAY RATE: $17.00-$22.00 Per Hour, Commensurate with Experience

Duties:

Performs preventative maintenance tasks and documents work on proper forms.

Completes weekly emergency generator tests, daily hot water tests, monthly door alarm tests, and maintains proper documentation of all.

Checks rooftop HVAC units at least quarterly for filter cleanliness, and changes as needed. Checks condenser fins quarterly and informs Director of Environmental Services when cleaning is needed.

Maintains neat and clean work area, for example, returns tools and equipment to their proper place after use.

Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facility's corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws. Adheres to the facility's confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees, as necessary to perform job duties.

Performs any other duties assigned by the Director of Facilities.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Familiarity with minor plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.

Familiarity with paints, primers and their applications.

Painting must be neat (i.e. no spots/drips on floor/cover base/frames).

Be able to work with minimal supervision and/or direction.
