Position Description:

PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead a dynamic team through growth change management and ensure the efficient, timely, and compliant collection of all customer receivables. You will be a key owner in designing the financial health of our organization by driving operational excellence, implementing tools, identifying and actioning risk mitigations, and fostering a collaborative team environment. What We're Looking For:

Entrees (Requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Finance,Accounting,or a related field preferred.
  • Leadership and team management experience,including coaching, performance, and development skills.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the accounts receivable function.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, policies, practices, and accounting principles as it relates to credit policies and accounts receivable.
  • Strong understanding of collection software and systems.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as relevant receivable software and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with track record of superior customer service and the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Lead and manage a team of accounts receivable specialists, ensuring they understand processes, procedures and compliance controls:

  • Ensure a professional customer experience is delivered with each engagement.
  • Design the Accounts Receivable organizational structure based upon business needs, account variabilities and distribution of team competencies.
  • Foster a positive and results-oriented team culture, emphasizing ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Drive change management across our processes and systems as we support PAR growth.
  • Ensure implementation and maintenance of activity-based risk management protocols such as cross trainings and SOPs to ensure a compliant process environment.

Credit & Receivables Management:

  • Develop and implement credit and collections control policies and procedures to minimize bad debt and maximize cash flow.
  • Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and risk management best practices.
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable portion of Net Working Capital to ensure company cash goals are met.
  • Partner with both legal and accounting to ensure at risk or bankrupt accounts are reserved and managed correctly.
  • Establish and maintain high-performance standards for accounts receivable, including timely escalation of at risks accounts and proactive customer engagements.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and new technologies in accounts receivable.
  • Manage receivables across numerous systems & Business groups; and own the integration of receivables acquired through acquisitions.

Process & Performance Optimization:

  • Develop and present relevant metrics for inclusion in leadership dashboard, inclusive of key drivers and action plans.
  • Drive optimization projects for Accounts Receivable inclusive of systems, processes, and people.
  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Finance) to ensure seamless financial operations and data integrity.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Lead business facing meetings to review at risk accounts for aligned action plans.
  • Deliver actionable business insights via reporting, metrics, and KPIs
  • Ensure timely awareness of at-risk accounts and business exposure to leadership and legal.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders regarding invoice discrepancies, payment terms, and account status.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
