Job Description

The Quality Control/Safety Inspector will lead efforts to uphold and enhance our quality and safety processes, ensuring that all standards are consistently met. This role involves conducting routine incoming inspection tasks, utilizing industry standard measuring equipment to check dimensions, as well as verifying counts for accuracy and overall cosmetic conditions. All inspection outcomes must be meticulously documented and entered into our computer system. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing standard operating procedures to boost safety throughout the facility. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have sheet metal manufacturing experience, and can independently execute tasks with high attention to detail.

Work Environment

You will be part of a team in a 32,000-foot, climate-controlled facility established in 1984, which includes state-of-the-art equipment such as laser cutting, a graphics department, and a powder-coating system. The team currently consists of 12 employees, with a full capacity of 16. We ensure a clean and safe working environment with company-provided steel toes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility required as project needs arise.
