UCEDA International International Marketing Specialist in New Brunswick, New Jersey

Develop and execute effective marketing strategies related to the use of international student recruiting agents, social media, online advertising, search engine optimization, public relations, and professional networking. Research local, regional, national, and international market conditions, including gathering information on competitors, prices, services, and methods, as well as global news and trends related to immigration and study abroad. Provide accurate and persuasive content on an ongoing basis to relevant online directories and all applicable social media accounts, while tracking metrics and monitoring the overall online presence/perception of the school and its competitors. Effectively utilize web tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Zoom, WhatsApp, WordPress, etc. Develop insights from analytics to improve results of all marketing efforts, and coordinate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts. Assist in managing online advertising and social media campaigns in support of new registrations and brand awareness, through search and display campaigns, web sites, blogs, mass email, street campaigns, video and social media. Maintain a social media calendar to inspire and engage potential clients/customers. Participate in the design and creation of content, including flyers, brochures, and online posts. Select and edit images and proofread and edit content for social media. Work closely with the International Student Services office and Designated School Officials (DSOs) to ensure all marketing and advertising materials, online communications, and representatives clearly and accurately describe the school’s programs, policies and procedures in compliance with appropriate regulations. Assist in managing lists of leads and customers. Review and respond to inquiries from prospective students and share qualified prospects with the appropriate enrollment advisor. Refer international students to official resources and appropriate DSOs for information and implementation of immigration regulations and related procedures. Develop productive relationships with student recruitment agents. Closely monitor the productivity and ethical conduct of contracted agents and make recommendations to the Vice President and International Student Services Manager. Set a positive example to coworkers, students and to the public while adhering to all policies and procedures and promoting a positive reputation for the school. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or its US equivalent) in Marketing or closely related field. Must have 3 years experience working in the areas of international marketing, sales, and customer service. Must possess experience working with online marketing and communication tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Zoom, WhatsApp, and WordPress and computer skills: MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint. Applicant must have strong interpersonal skills and professional communication skills. 20% travel required (regional) as needed. Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours per week: M-F-9am-5pm.
