Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain operations. This position is responsible for managing the flow of materials into and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adapting quickly to dynamic warehouse demands. This role is vital for ensuring that our products are accurately received, stored, and shipped to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of materials into and out of the warehouse.

• Ensure accurate inventory records.

• Support smooth warehouse operations.

• Receive, store, and ship products to customers promptly.

• Maintain high levels of quality and safety standards.

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Perform cycle counts and inventory control.

• Handle materials and packaging.

• Conduct data entry to track inventory.

Essential Skills

• Inventory management.

• Forklift operation with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

• Shipping and receiving processes.

• Inventory control.

• Proficiency in using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.

• Data entry skills for inventory tracking.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively via email and other electronic means.

• Forklift certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to use a barcode scanner.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neptune, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
