Auxiliary Police Officers Are Equipped With Life-Saving Overdose Prevention Antidote The volunteer officers of the Nassau County Auxiliary Police have received Narcan training, and carry the life-saving antidote while on patrol. Narcan (Naloxone) is an antidote that reverse the fatal effects of an opiod overdose.
