Responsibilities

Hours: 3rd Shift

Pay Rate: Up to $36/HR, based on experience.

    • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repairs production machines and facility equipment.
    • Diagnose problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments.
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
    • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to production machine and facility equipment.
    • Confer with service representatives and researches and orders corrects parts for equipment.
    • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork.
    • Assist in all areas of production equipment and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

    • Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
    • Ability to understand standard/metric units of measure.
    • Ability to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
    • Ability to sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
    • Ability to use power and hand tools.
    • Ability to use and check safety on cranes.
    • Ability to interact with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and be computer literate.
    • Ability to analyze and plan each job in order to determine tools, equipment and materials necessary.
    • Ability to work at various heights which necessitates the use of ladders, scaffolding, and motorized lifts.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporaries.
    • Ability to understand process controllers for programming and repair including CNCs, PLCs, etc.
    • Ability to operate a fork truck and a pallet jack.
    • Ability to wear respirator when needed.
    • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, stoop, bend, reach and climb for prolonged periods of time.
    • Ability to work independently and perform work under minimal supervision
    • May occasionally be required to work other shifts. Must be flexible.
    • Must be available for on-call for 24 hour emergency response.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
