Job Duties:Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new features in 1830 Photonic Service Switch. Provide support for the 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) DWDM platform to help optical network operators build networks that can accelerate the delivery of mobile, video, business, wavelength, Ethernet, and cloud services using short, long (200G wavelength distances of 2,000 km) and ultra-long-haul (100G wavelength distances of 7,500 km) high speed optical data center interconnection with payload capacity ranging up to 500G. Design network management protocols based on YANG, OpenConfig, Netconf, and SNMP. Design and develop new optical transmission features. Implement features in C++ in a real-time, embedded Linux system.
