Description

We are on the lookout for a proficient Bookkeeper to be a part of our team in Mt Laurel, New Jersey. In this role, you will be expected to manage and maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of account reconciliations.

• Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Employing skills in bookkeeping to maintain and update financial records.

• Performing data entry tasks as required for financial record keeping.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports.

• Managing the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Administering payroll to ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time.

• Operating QuickBooks for accounting functions and financial management.

Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role or similar.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and the ability to handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Experience with bank reconciliations is essential.

• Demonstrable skills in bookkeeping practices and principles.

• Competency in data entry tasks with high accuracy.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

• Experience in performing month end close procedures.

• Capability to manage payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
