Job Summary:

As the Maintenance Parts Coordinator, he/she will oversee purchasing activities, creation of new spare parts, management of spare parts usage and reorder from a fiscal accountability standpoint. Reports to Maintenance/Reliability Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2 - 3 years experience in manufacturing stockroom environment Ability to maintain a forklift license

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient clerical and computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook Desirable working knowledge and experience with any CMMS systems Understands the need of accurate data and inventory counts Understands the concepts of asset management Able to identify irregularities in inventory movement

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inventory performance reports as required Organize parts inventory and provide internal customers with parts, kitting and supplies as requested Monitor suppliers regarding service levels and quality Optimize the cost of holding spare inventory and potential downtime impact to operations Ensure compliance with Plant and Corporate financial policies for inventory management Issue purchase requisitions Follow-up on purchase orders and verify shipments Support kitting implementation (a process of packing together a set of spare parts for planned maintenance)
