Responsibilities:Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to,Receives all incoming products accurately inputs into our inventory systemAssures quality control and documents for the labeling that is placed onto newly received productPrepares and organizes all outgoing shipments for customer orders and trade showsMaintains the organization of the refrigeration & warehouse storage areasDetermine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouseLook through work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided by the Logistics ManagerAscertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery palletAssist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe mannerArrange for carrier vehicle or pickupMaintain files of shipping recordsAttach identifying information and delivery instructions on containersOrganize records of goods shippedFollows up on emails from our internal and external customers including issues with regulatory departments CDC, FDA and CBPTrain all entry level SR associatesKeep logistics manager up to date of any escalationsBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or GED5+ years of shipping and receiving experience both domestic and international1+ year of experience using SAP WMPreferred Qualifications:Experience with 3PL and LTL palletized shipmentsKnowledge of commercial invoices and customs requirementsKnowledge of FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship programsExperience with inventory cycle countingMust be able to work in a team environment and be detail oriented
