EUROIMMUN US is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance and accounting team. This role will focus on preparing and managing the general ledger and financial statement accounts for a public company reporting under US GAAP as well as maintaining SOX compliance. This role will report to the regional Euroimmun controller.Duties:Ensure all financial statement accounts are accurate and in compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controlsPerform daily g/l accounting, transaction processing, and record keeping for balance sheet accounts such as inventory, prepaid, accounts receivable, bad debt reserves, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, accruals, employee related accounts, and leases under ASC 842Provide day to day support to Regional ControllerPerform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.Prepare month end and quarter end reporting package and financial statements for consolidated Revvity 10-Q/10-K reportingImplement process improvements in accounting and control proceduresHelp support A/R, A/P staff to ensure timely payment of invoices and accurate billing/collectionsSupport any internal or external audits, serving as the primary contact for internal and external auditorsMaintain SOX compliance program across the businessWork cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Corporate functions and other teams to ensure accurate financial reportingEnforce company policies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize financial riskQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required.Experience: Minimum 5 to10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public company environment or public accounting firmExpertise in US GAAP and financial reporting.Proficiency in SAP business one is mandatory.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft ExcelAbility to meet tight deadlines and manage competing prioritiesStrong analytical skills and ability to provide insights and recommendationsDemonstrated success in implementing process improvements in accounting and control proceduresAbility to work cross functionally in a matrix like organization https://www.eeoc.gov/eeo-policy-statement
