Job Description:

The Enterprise Protect Reporting Factory (EPRF) resides in Platforms & Technology Risk Services within the Global Risk & Compliance – Enterprise Protect, Office of the Chief information Security Officer (OCISO) department. The team is responsible for delivery of high-quality risk based metrics, dashboards and analytics, working with executive leadership and Subject Matter Experts across the Enterprise Protect organization.

Reporting to the Risk Reporting Senior Manager for the Enterprise Protect Risk Factory, the candidate will be a member of a high performing team of Technology and Risk professionals utilizing personal experience and knowledge of Business Intelligence expertise. The candidate will be accountable for ensuring completeness and accuracy of metrics, providing valuable data analytics insight and metrics expertise for our risk reporting stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

• Lead Production Operations of senior executive cyber and technology risk reporting. This includes ensuring accuracy, adherence to SLOs, incident management, urgent fixes, colleague inquiries, access requests, data governance and all support requests.

• Collaborate with business leads to elicit risk commentary and articulate those in a manner that can be easily understood by senior executives.

• Use Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau Views to create customized and detailed monthly reporting packages for numerous lines of businesses

• Work with 2nd Line of Defense on all challenges as required.

• Engaging Enterprise Protect stakeholders and data providers, validating the quality and integrity of the data and results of metrics included in all reporting end to end.

• Supporting change awareness activities, providing expertise on KRI design, developing materials and supporting ongoing data analysis requests.

• Build and/or deliver presentations communications to management or broader audience

• Demonstrate expert knowledge of all data sources and data lineage for the reporting data mart(s) with a strong understanding of how these data sources are utilized for reporting purposes.

• Own and drive improvements to the Risk Reporting Factory processes with solutions that mitigate risk and maximize availability of service, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Serve as the business risk reporting team lead in data governance processes, identifying and escalating data issues, engaging data stewards and driving remediation at books of record.

Depth & Scope:

  • Works independently as the senior analyst / subject matter expert and may provide technical support to others

  • Requires advanced knowledge of reporting and BI platforms, tools and techniques, and ability to effectively leverage it to support diverse reporting and BI functions

  • Considered a subject matter expert within a given area

  • Expert knowledge of all main data sources for the data used within the business unit and ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes

  • Experienced professional role providing specialized data visualizations to support business needs

  • May be expected to have a knowledge of broader enterprise reporting platforms and data sources and ability to integrate data across the enterprise

  • May be expected to present to senior management or executives

  • Oversees and/or independently performs tasks from end-to-end

  • Generally focuses on broad range of moderately complex issues that may span from short to medium term (e.g. monthly-quarterly)

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science) Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or;

  • 3+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted

Preferred Qualification :

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Sound knowledge of one or more technology controls or security domains, disciplines, and practices such as but not limited to Vulnerability Management, Data Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, Asset Currency (End of Life/Support), Cyber Threat Management, Service Continuity, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.

  • Preferred knowledge of financial industry's technology controls and security risk issues.

  • Strength in prioritizing and managing your own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines with limited guidance of management.

  • Problem solver with ability to work independently.

  • Must have strong attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, strong presentation skills a must.

  • Intermediate to Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint knowledge. Proficient with technology tools including databases (SQL), SharePoint, Confluence, and other reporting tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously, strong project management, reporting, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to participate in complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives.

  • Business/technology experience with experience collaborating with others in highly matrix, cross-functional environmen t.

Customer Accountabilities:

  • Produces specialized reporting packages, dashboards and scorecards for businesses, with a focus on understanding objectives and delivering insights for: (1) product design and development; (2) customer engagement; (3) account management; and (4) business decision making

  • Uses various methodologies to rapidly generate impactful interactive visualizations or tools

  • Leads the implementation of initiatives in support of overall business / function strategy

  • Conducts analysis to provide enhanced BI to inform management leadership team

  • Creates complex and comprehensive BI reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data infrastructure, localized DataMart's and external data sources and transforms into visual stories using appropriate systems to support client objectives

  • Identifies and proposes data presentations to meet evolving business's needs; utilizes various technology / applications / methodologies to rapidly generate impactful visualizations

  • Builds basic layouts and templates to be utilized by internal partners

  • Validates the quality and integrity of the data included in the Reporting Packages and Dashboards

  • Develops meaningful and insightful commentary / insights on new and existing reporting packages

  • Works with business partners to understand business objectives and develops value-added reporting and provides ad-hoc data extracts

  • Adopts, implements and effectively evolves report automation and/or visualization standards

  • May as a subject matter expert, to provide advisory or consultative services for supported colleagues and/or businesses regarding multi-format data visualization techniques
