Software Engineer:

Small, close knit engineering team seeks new engineer to join our ranks. Every day, we support individual developing assignments while ensuring we stay connected as a team, supporting one another so we can all deliver excellence. We own client-facing communications so our work is directly related to the overall success of the company and our customers’ experience. We are in the midst of a multi-year project to sunset our existing communications tool and onboard a new tool, so our ideal candidate will have a variety of coding experience in several languages, especially: Java, AWS, and OpenShift, ReactJS, Restful Services and database experience. Our ideal candidate is someone able to work in a team environment to collaborate on overall product strategy, while also being able to develop and test independently. Our ideal candidate will design and develop new functionality for our current applications via an Agile lifecycle. Our ideal candidate will understand which questions need to be asked of our business partners to ensure our requirements meet expectations, and effectively and proactively communicate realistic timelines and blockers to key stakeholders.

This will be a hybrid-position, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and one other day required as in-office days, and remainder of the week will be Work From Home. This position will be located in either St. Louis, MO or Morris Plains, NJ.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field and/or related experience

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience in Java

• Experience with front-end UI development supported in the cloud; ReactJS, Restful Services

• Experience with Cloud development; AWS and Openshift

• Experience with relational databases; Oracle, MongoDBl, SQL

• Experience in Agile development; Jira

• Experience with batch coding and batch design, preferred.
