Coastal Source Carpenter/Project Coordinator in Moorestown, New Jersey

Carpenter/Project CoordinatorNOTE: This will be an in-person position at our Moorestown, NJ warehouse location.Coastal Source is looking for a Carpenter/Project Coordinator who will be responsible for the design, fabrication and transportation of the company’s trade show booths, training materials, demo/display vehicles, and all related equipment/product components in a manner that best showcases the products’ performance and capabilities to dealers and potential dealers.Coastal Source strives to create the most durable and high-performance outdoor living products on the market. Reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute across different challenges, you are a versatile problem-solver who delivers results with ease and professionalism.Key Qualifications- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or trade school; associate's degree a plus- Strong carpentry experience - proficient in the use of hand/power tools, table saw, miter saw, etc.- Quality control experience- Audio, lighting and/or electronics experience a plus- Able to work proactively and independently, but also excited to work as part of a team- Highly organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment- Able to manage projects and prioritize tasks- Strong communication skills- Willing and able to learn quickly- Interested in performing a variety of tasks- Able to operate forklifts- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations- Clean driving record (no driving violations in the last 3 years)- Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s licenseWhat You’ll Do- Design, fabricate, and maintain the fleet of Coastal Source Sprinter Vans and Trailers- Continuously upgrade the vans to ensure that the latest products and technologies are implemented- Install and modify equipment and accessories for vehicles in accordance with Coastal Source requirements and standards- Complete system integrations and electrical wiring for audio, lighting, and other electronic devices- Verify that every installation is safe, useful, and visually appealing- Guarantee optimum performance, undertake regular maintenance and inspections on equipped cars- When performing installations and repairs, follow all safety procedures and industry standards- Verify that every vehicle equipped complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws- Guarantee efficiency and safety, keep the workspace neat and orderly in the Coastal Source Shop- Design, fabricate, and maintain marketing assets for trade shows- Participate in all trade show preparations including the building of necessary display components- Ensure that all audio and lighting components, props and display pieces are operating at 100% and damage free prior to and after each trade show- Ensure that all audio and lighting components needed for all events are packed for transport in accordance with the company’s established standards- Upon return from a trade show, training, demo, or other event, ensure that all audio and lighting components are unpacked and stored in the warehouse in accordance with the company’s established standards- Maintain organization of all event materials and exhibits- Optimize event production, storage, and shipping processes- Travel to local events or trade shows (as needed) to assist with setup and tear down- Drive company vehicles as needed- Coordinate or assist in special projects as needed. These may include but are not limited to QC, prop build-out, and unloading shipping containers- Other duties as assignedWork Conditions/Physical Demands- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, although most components to be lifted throughout the day are 30 pounds or less (with the occasional need to lift as much as 75 pounds), with or without reasonable accommodation- Ability to alternatively sit, stand, push, pull, lift, and walk about the warehouse or trade show, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to drive the company van varying distances and maintain the company van- Ability to work in all kinds of extreme temperatures (e.g., hot, cold)*To be considered for the higher end of the pay range, candidates must have carpentry skills, experience in audio, lighting, and/or electronics experience.Coastal Source is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
