Eaton’s Corporate IT is hiring a Senior Manager IT Business Relationship Management (Fuel and Motion Control, Aerospace Group) in any main Eaton location within US or UK. This position requires 25% travel.
What you’ll do:
Job Summary
As the Senior Manager IT Business Relationship Management (Fuel and Motion Control, Aerospace Group) you will be the primary point of contact for a sub-set of IT services and strategic projects. You will Identify opportunities, projects, builds consensus across customer base and IT, develop business cases to secure funding and Span multiple business functions. You will also ensure scope of projects are well-defined for transition to delivery Value Chains and all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized.
Reporting directly to the VP, IT Business Relationship Management, you will be responsible to directionally align to executive level leadership (President/SVP/VP/GM), possibly in more than one region, to ensure IT objectives are met and effective level of support is provided.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure IT alignment with customer strategy - customer advocate
• Ensure customer alignment with IT strategy and IT guiding principles
• Eliminate projects that are not aligned with the IT strategy, have weak business benefits or are duplicate solutions to existing enterprise software portfolio
• Ensure solutions aligned with and supports architecture standards. Partner with architecture team if no standard exists
• Responsible to customer for service provider success
• Reviews escalated issues for scope and clarity, vetting, documenting and routing through the appropriate support mechanisms
• Delivery assurance of medium and large-sized initiatives leveraging the value chains
• Ensure effective level of support for existing systems/processes
• Ensure significant projects are delivered effectively and reliably to meet the strategic business objectives, acting as DGC members
• Demonstrate Financial Acumen through CAR preparation, budget management and profit planning
• Involve complex process and organizational change management.
• For large-scale projects, manage OCM team of business process experts.
• Trusted advisor and introduce innovation
• Influence IT structures that support our customers
• Member of IT Strat Plan councils
• Compliance background/awareness - CMMC, ITAR...etc.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 10 years of IT Application experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Lean experience preferred.
• Industry experience/awareness preferred.
Skills:
Advanced to SME understanding of some of Eaton key application(s.)
Advanced to SME understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function.
Advanced understanding of IT industry trends and applicability to operations
Ability to storytell -- connecting the dots between Aerospace and IT strategy and key investments
Strong voice of customer experience. Instilling trust that issues raised will be taken seriously and resolutions will be made.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
