Description
Position Overview
The Main Banker Position is a detail oriented position, able to handle multiple tasks at a time. They are responsible for supporting the Casino Cage Manager and Casino Cage Shift Managers in balancing the Casino Cage after combining all cash and cash equivalents, combined with the Chip, Voucher, Count Room, and Check Bank balance sheets.
Essential Functions
Receives cash, vouchers, chips, jackpot payout slips, and cash equivalents from general cashiers
Receives cash from the count room
Prepares the overall cage reconciliation and accounting records
Prepares the daily bank deposit for cash, markers and checks
Receives from general cashiers, documentation with signatures thereon, required to be prepared for the effective segregation of functions in the cashiers’ cage
Responsible for the reserve cash bankroll
Receives unsecured currency from accounting department representatives or other RWC employees in emergent situations (e.g. machine jams, emergency drops, etc.).
Prepare impressed banks for front window cashiers
Fills and prepares drop boxes for TRU daily
Balances kiosks
Rotates to work other areas of the cage (chip, marker banks or front windows)
Verifies all funds received and disbursed to other departments and line cashiers.
Processes fills and credits from games and slots.
Ensures accurate records and documenting of all transactions affecting the cashier office accountability on an assigned shift.
Prepares daily bank deposits.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Essential Requirements
Quick learner of the concepts, principles, practices and procedures of the Casino Cage
Detail oriented
Ability to understand the need for accuracy when handling cash, chips and other cash equivalent forms
Ability to follow direction and accept constructive direction from Managers
Possesses great customer experience with every customer all the time
Must have working of computer input
Knowledge/Work Experience
Must be 18 years or older
High school Diploma preferred, any special certifications or licenses
Two (2) years relevant experience with a currency handling
Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission
