We are seeking a Contract Developer to join our team for a 3 - 6 month assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing Apps and connecting to API's. You will work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and improve the overall user experience. This is a full-time remote role working Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 EST with ability to travel to our headquarters in Rockland County, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Software Applications:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Maintain existing codebase, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

  • Testing and Debugging:

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and other testing methodologies.

  • Debug and fix issues to ensure the software is functional and reliable.

  • Software Design and Architecture:

  • Participate in software design reviews and provide feedback.

  • Contribute to the architecture and design of software components.

  • Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing software.

  • Document technical specifications and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in software development.

  • Proficiency in Programming Languages

  • Experience with frameworks/libraries such as [React Native].

  • Knowledge of database systems.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain integrity and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information.
