DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be a member of the Specialty Synthesis Group (SSG) operations and maintenance team. You will lead a group of engineering and technical associates to ensure site operations, maintenance and capital deployment are executed per plan while maintaining high standards for environmental, health, safety, and quality. The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will manage the capital execution, capital planning and maintenance activities in the plant and development laboratories. This position is critical to overall success of the SSG group at Monroeville. You will work onsite at our Monroeville, PA Plant.

Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute the capital plan for the site regarding SSG operations. * Work with SSG groups to ensure all capital requirements are included in the 5-year capital plan. * Ensure projects are funded, on target for cost and timing and meet business requirements. * Ensure all projects are properly staffed for success. * Coordinate and direct outside contractors as needed to implement project or maintenance work. * Ensure all new equipment is properly rolled into the preventative maintenance and spare parts stores. * Maintain uptime of 98% or greater through proper development and execution of preventative maintenance plans. * Establish priorities for maintenance activities on an as needed basis. Work closely with facility services to define needs for personnel to carry out the preventative maintenance plan. * Ensure environmental health and safety and quality compliance, following Company procedures, legislative, regulatory and operating license requirements. * Manage budget goals for SSG maintenance activities. * Lead a culture of continuous improvement and focus on operational and reliability excellence. * Partner with Quality, Development, and Operations for training on processes and equipment. * Work as part of a team to deliver new product or processes, resolve issues, implement change and other SSG initiatives. Providing Subject Matter expertise to support improvement initiatives. * Deputize as Operations Manager when required.

Qualifications * Minimum BS degree in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering or other relevant qualification. * Over 5 years, Chemical/ Engineering process and operational management experience is essential. * People management experience. Over 5 years of experience in a management role. * Knowledge of chemical processes, mechanical integrity and preventative maintenance practices.
