Description

We are inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the daily activities of our accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments, and maintaining relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.

• Establish and maintain vendor relationships by monitoring accounts and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Aid in the implementation of accounts payable OCR (Optical Character Recognition) solution.

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of company purchasing card statements.

• Support requirements associated with the annual audit and monthly sales tax returns processing.

• Timely and accurate processing of 1099s to vendors.

• Oversee the monthly closing of accounts payable and posting at month end.

• Set up and maintain banking information for electronic payment vendors.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.

• Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP).

• Demonstrated ability to conduct Check Runs.

• Proficiency in Coding Invoices.

• Strong data entry skills.

• Experience in Invoice Processing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle is a plus.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software.

• Knowledge of SAP system.
