Description

The Sr. Accountant will be involved in a variety of tasks, including account analysis, treasury activities, and general ledger management. This role provides a fixed-term employment opportunity, and the individual will need to work independently, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage month-end closing procedures and produce monthly financial statements

• Conduct account analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making

• Handle treasury activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled

• Maintain the general ledger, recording all business transactions and balancing accounts

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

• Conduct bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies

• Oversee accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and recorded correctly

• Use Great Plains Dynamics for financial management and reporting, where experience is a plus

• Ensure all account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements • Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger management

• Ability to handle Journal Entries with accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in conducting Month End Close activities

• Knowledge of Treasury Activities and their management

• Proficiency in using Great Plains Dynamics software

• Skilled in Account Analysis and its related tasks

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Statements
