Senior Accountant in Mineola, NY

As the Senior Accountant, you will:

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Produce accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.

• Conduct variance analysis to provide strategic financial insights to leadership.

• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement organizational financial goals.

• Support internal and external audits and compliance activities.

• Identify areas for process improvement and optimizing financial workflows.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA credentials are a strong plus.

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with senior or leadership-level experience.

• Hands-on expertise in ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

• A high level of familiarity with GAAP and financial compliance standards.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
