Buildings and Grounds Services Assistant:

Milton, PA

 

Full time position responsible for supporting the guest hospitality service, CSIU staff service, building custodial and related support activities for the CSIU Central Office and Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center buildings located in Milton, PA.   The ultimate effort of the position is to do all that is possible to ensure facility cleanliness and appropriate accommodations for CSIU guests and staff.  The anticipated start date is July 18, 2024.

  • Hourly rate:$15.00 -- 18.00 per hour non-exempt position.This is a full time non-exempt position follows a 260-day schedule.  Primary working hours are generally 7:00 AM to 3:00 P.M. but requires flexibility to adjust schedule to work after 3:00 PM or later in order to accommodate evening meetings and board meetings.  Additional working hours must be pre-approved by immediate supervisor.

Education, skills and experience requirements: 

  • The minimum educational requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working in client services, hospitality or customer service related area.
  • Prior custodial experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, email and experience managing file sharing with Google Drive is required.
  • Adept at using virtual meeting platforms such as Skype, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. 
  • Ability to learn new operations and/or equipment functions as relevant systems are updated.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize the task based on project deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and customer service skills.
