Description

Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor for our client. They will lead and oversee the accounts payable team, ensuring the timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices. This role involves hands-on invoice processing, daily workload management, and providing analytical support for complex issues. The Supervisor will also coordinate with other departments to resolve escalated matters and contribute to process improvement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Dedicate approximately 30% of your time to processing invoices, adapting to business needs and invoice volumes.

• Ensure all invoices are processed promptly and accurately in Job Router and correctly posted in SAP.

• Identify software-related issues and collaborate with management to devise effective resolution strategies.

• Review daily backlogs, identify priority items, and delegate tasks accordingly to optimize workflow.

• Facilitate collaboration between the A/P team and the Supply Chain team to resolve parked, blocked, and past due invoices.

• Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Monitor A/P mailboxes to ensure proper usage by internal and external customers and address inquiries promptly.

• Ensure all A/P inquiries are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related business field.

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a corporate accounts payable environment.
