Description We are in search of a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Melville, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with managing payroll processes, maintaining precise records, and being the point of contact for payroll inquiries. You will work within the construction industry, focusing on union payroll processing, which includes certified and prevailing wages.

Responsibilities:

• Manage weekly union payroll processes

• Handle certified and prevailing wage payroll operations

• Ensure accurate payroll documentation and records

• Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll inquiries

• Contribute to the growth of the company through efficient payroll management

• Maintain excellent communication with team members and stakeholders

• Foster a progressive work environment through active participation and collaboration

• Continuously improve payroll processes and systems for increased efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in a payroll administration role

• Certification in Payroll Administration is required

• Demonstrated knowledge of prevailing wage laws and regulations

• Experience in administering union payroll is essential

• Proficiency in payroll software and related technologies

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Comprehensive understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple payroll processes simultaneously.
