Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and reading blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble HVAC units using hand and power tools.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and maintenance.

• Perform regular cleaning and washing of HVAC components.

• Utilize wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches effectively.

• Travel to various locations including Coney Island, Jamaica Queens, and Yonkers NY to work on rail cars' HVAC units.

• Work collaboratively with a team of 5-10 employees in the production department.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Experience with torque wrenches and other mechanical tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform assembly tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as an assembler or mechanic.

• Capability to work in a team environment.

• Must have own vehicle for travel to various job sites.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 8AM to 4:30PM. You will be part of a production team, fully trained on company processes and expected tasks. Tools will be provided, and you will receive travel reimbursement for using your own vehicle.
