Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and reading blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Assemble and disassemble HVAC units using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
Perform regular cleaning and washing of HVAC components.
Utilize wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches effectively.
Travel to various locations including Coney Island, Jamaica Queens, and Yonkers NY to work on rail cars' HVAC units.
Work collaboratively with a team of 5-10 employees in the production department.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Experience with torque wrenches and other mechanical tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform assembly tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as an assembler or mechanic.
Capability to work in a team environment.
Must have own vehicle for travel to various job sites.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 8AM to 4:30PM. You will be part of a production team, fully trained on company processes and expected tasks. Tools will be provided, and you will receive travel reimbursement for using your own vehicle.
