Production Laborer -- Meadville, PA

Miller Brothers Staffing is actively seeking a Production Laborer in Meadville, PA, for a local manufacturing company specializing in custom packaging solutions.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate:

• $13.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Production Laborer plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production that meets customer requirements. This position involves handling materials, performing various production tasks, and maintaining compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various production-related tasks, including picking, inspecting, packaging, hand trimming, sanding, finishing, taping, gluing, labeling, palletizing, and operating hand jacks.
• Follow production guidelines to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Operate production equipment after receiving proper training and qualification.
• Assist with machine setup as needed.
• Maintain documentation for daily production activities.
• Support a team-oriented environment and assist in coordinating tasks if assigned as a team leader.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and job performance.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Follow company policies as outlined in the Employee Manual.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus but not required.
