Job description

The Behavior Consultant is a mental health professional with a graduate degree. The Behavior Consultant - ABA must meet one of the following: have a Behavior Specialist License, have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate level certification in behavior analysis, have a graduate degree in ABA, a minimum of 1 year of full time experience in providing mental health services to children and a graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or Counseling or a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and a graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling or related field. Behavior Consultants that provide services to clients with an Autism Spectrum Disorder must be a licensed Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services. Behavior Consultant - Individual does not have to be licensed.

Specific responsibilities of Behavioral Consultants include the following...

· Development and revision of the Individual Treatment Plan

· Oversight of the implementation of the ITP.

· Development of data collection methods and review of data collected by Behavioral Health Technicians

· Participation in annual trainings

· Clinical direction of services to a child, youth, or young adult

· Consultation with a child, youth or young adult's treatment team regarding the ITP

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
