*Install repair, construct, adjust modify and service all types of electronic equipment. *
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done.
Analyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings as required to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, modify or service all types of electronic devices and systems, including communication systems various mill and production equipment, electronic computing and control systems, power and distribution control equipment, measuring, recording, processing and control devices, indicating devices and gauges, etc.
Plans details of working procedures to determine material or replacement needs and selects a logical approach to "trouble shooting" and repair problems. Answers trouble calls.
Makes sketches of parts and layouts designs and constructs adaptions or conversions of component parts.
Assembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic devices. Makes mechanical and electrical repairs as required in connection with servicing of electronic equipment.
Inspects, dismantles, services, reassembles, tests, and adjusts equipment for safe and proper operation.
Maintains, install or repairs all communication cables or wiring. Makes power cable spices, climbs on buildings, cranes, towers and mill equipment to make inspections, repairs and installations.
Receives and reviews crane operator's reports
Arranges for periodic cane inspections.
Operates, inspects, mechanically and electrically all cranes, hoists, and other like equipment in the mill both operating and idle departments, making detailed check of the following items; limit switch, fire prevention, equipment, main switch, controllers, cleanliness, overload protective equipment, bridges switches, bearings, line shafts, coupling bolts, gears and drums, trolley bars, and shoes, girders, crane alignment, cables, lubercation system, safety equipment, book, block sheaves, etc.
Complete written inspection reports setting forth recommended repairs for submission to maintenance department, human resources, and applicable operating department.
Instructs in safety practices and observes and certifies proficiency of crane operator
Occasionally operates crane to make extraordinary maintenance lifts or to make test lifts to check for proper operation of dynamic braking mechanisms, etc.uman resources and applicable operating department.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
